The worst
On 12/25, as soon as I activated my card, I saw a balance of 100. Somehow, now my balance is $99.99 and I haven't used my card.
Someone, please help.
I went to Dunkin Donut, and my purchase was 14 dollars and some change. But, to my surprise, it says I only had 1 dollar on my gift card.

My card was a $50 dollar card, and the activation fee was over $50. So, I'm upset because my grandparents spent over $100 on a gift card for me and my sibling, but it was for nothing!
There was $50 on the card, but I still have almost two dollars on the card. Plus, I made one small purchase on a game only worth 40¢, so I have no idea.
It's late, and this is upsetting me. Goodnight.

I tried to purchase my back-to-school wig with the gift card after buying it at Lowe's, but it didn't work multiple times until I realized I had to activate it. Even after activating it, it still didn't work.
I called customer service and all I got was a robot, which wasn't helpful. Today, I spoke to a real human and I was told that the card isn't in my name and someone is paying their phone bill with the gift card I added money onto.

I purchased 2 visa prepaid cards, first 6 digits: 4358 80. I have not been able to register them online to begin using them.
With how I am using them online they must be registered, as payment will not go through. Each card has $500 on them. The website giftcardmall.com/mygift will not register them and gives a message to call customer service. When I call the number on the card is says to register online and gives NO options to speak with a representative.
I have called multiple numbers just to speak to a person and was transfer 5 times and no one had the ability to help register the cards, and I was ultimately told the only thing I can do is call the number on the back of the card that does not connect to a representative. This is my last resort to try to register my cards for use. If this is not resolved in a timely manner, I'm going to the police and reporting theft of $1,000.
If that does not work I'm going to the local news channel to make sure no one buys these cards. The entire business model is set up for theft.
Preferred solution: Register the cards for use. Their website will repeatedly not allow it, and there is no customer service options for resolution.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
I attempted to charge a less expensive purchase after the first decline, and despite it being under $100, it was declined. I had to use a different account to make the purchase. So, now, the card shows a $0 balance despite all attempts to make purchases being declined. Every curse word in my vocabulary applies to my thoughts and feelings about this service.
I'm basically out $200, with no success at contacting a representative. The options are to call the automated line or mail the concern to a physical mailbox.
This is unacceptable. The automated phone line was of no help.

My last 10 dollars is on hold/pending, according to what the phone number says, although the website states it was spent. If it is on hold, is it possible to free it quickly?

Verified Reviewer |Resolved: Can Not Get Ahold Of a Human Being and They Are Holding My Money
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. They finally returned the funds.
If you have any kind of pending transaction, canceled order, etc. know that they will hold your funds well pasr the original company canceling the order and removing their pending status.
With my giftcardmall Mastercard Giftcard, they have held the funds and I spoke with them once. I then contacted the retailer who said there was no hold on it and it was my bank. They even gave me a supplemental transaction verification code to give to the gift card people to show there is no pending transaction and it was cancelled and now, for two days, there is no possible way to get a human being. It gives you no choice for one and even if you try to go through the automated system, it gives you your balance and says "I'm sorry, we did not understand your input" and hangs up on you.
This place is a scam. You find out how good someone's customer service is when you have a problem, and I just found out they suck.
